Iron Mike Chapter Kicks Off 2026 with Strength, Service, and Teamwork

On 9 January 2026, the AGCRA Iron Mike Chapter launched the new year with its annual Ruck and Roll 5K, bringing members together to strengthen camaraderie, promote fitness, and reinforce the values that define our Corps. Before stepping off, chapter leadership shared updates on upcoming initiatives and the vision for continued growth as a “team of teams.” XVIII Airborne Corps G-1 Sergeant Major and chapter member, SGM Delon Trolii, offered motivating words centered on caring for Soldiers, Civilians, and Families during a time of significant change in the Army, emphasizing the importance of holistic readiness—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. VP of Plans and Operations, MSG Myeshia Boston, led the group in prayer, setting a powerful and unified tone for the event.

The chapter was also proud to welcome two new members, SFC Dontae McCarthy and CPL Josselin Chavez. Their addition reflects the continued strength and growth of the Iron Mike Chapter, and we look forward to their contributions to both the chapter and the AG Corps.

Following the ruck, the Executive Council held a farewell luncheon honoring CPT James “Jimmy” Knott, outgoing Vice President of Community and Public Affairs. Alongside his wife, CPT Knott dedicated more than two years of exceptional service to the chapter, even while deployed. His leadership significantly expanded community outreach efforts, revitalized the chapter newsletter, and strengthened public engagement. While he will remain part of the Iron Mike family, his presence on the Executive Council will be deeply missed.

The Iron Mike Chapter began 2026 united in purpose, energized by leadership, and committed to excellence, service, and continued impact across the AG Corps and Fort Bragg community.
