AGCRA Awards Process Optimization – Key Updates

The AGCRA National Executive Council (NEC) has announced significant updates to the Awards Program, effective 1 September 2025, to make recognition faster, more predictable, and transparent.

Highlights of the changes:

Regional Awards Committee Support: Dedicated NEC members will now support Chapters by region, with all submissions routed through Awards-Team@agcra.com.

Standardized Processing Schedule: Award packets must be submitted between the 1st–15th of each month. Voting occurs 16th–20th, confirmations 21st–24th, and shipments 25th–30th. Submissions after the 15th will roll to the next cycle.

Decentralized RLM Awards: Beginning in September, Chapter Presidents may directly approve and sign Colonel Robert L. Manning Achievement Awards, with NEC record verification to follow.

Updated Nomination Form: A revised nomination form launches 1 November 2025. Old forms will be accepted only until 31 December 2025; starting 1 January 2026, they will no longer be valid.

Pilot Program: In October 2025, one Chapter will test a new decentralized RLM medal inventory process to identify efficiencies for possible future expansion.

These changes are designed to enhance recognition across all Chapters while reducing delays and confusion.
