The 2024 AGCRA Iron Mike Chapter Sneakers and Stilettos Ball
On 20 September 2024, the AGCRA Iron Mike Chapter hosted its 2024 Sneakers and Stilettos Ball at Intrigue Venue on Bragg Boulevard in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The event was a smashing success!
The program included the following: National Anthem performed by the Jazz Ensemble of the 82d Airborne Division Band; invocation by Chaplain Daniel Pruitt of HHBN, XVIII Airborne Corps; formal toasts delivered by Fort Liberty Adjutant General’s Corps Senior Leaders; a cake-cutting ceremony; Chapter tasty meal consisting of Colombian cuisine prepared and served by the La Fogata restaurant; an entertaining skit and remarks from the Iron Mike Chapter President (including unveiling of the newest Chapter t-shirt design); a highly enlightening and inspiring speech from the keynote speaker, Sergeant Major Kenyatta Gaskins; closing remarks by the Chapter Senior Vice President; and some post-program dancing to culminate the evening.
For the Ball's award ceremony, there were four AGCRA COL Robert L. Manning Achievement Medals and one AGCRA Major General Horatio Gates Gold Medal presentation.
