TAG Visit to JBLM
In mid-February 2025, BG Adam Smith, the 64th Adjutant General of the U.S. Army, alongside SGM LaQuita Wimbley, visited the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) AG Community in Washington state.

Pictured below, BG Smith provided a TAG Roadshow Town Hall LPD discussing initiatives such as Promotion Board Timelines, ASBS 2.0, TAP Transition, and MILPAY Transition, among other topics. BG Smith also met with some of our JBLM local units, took part in a "No-Host" social at Farrelli’s Pizza, and provided comments at the Mount Rainier Chapter Breakfast at the Courage Inn DFAC.

At the Chapter breakfast event, BG Smith coined and recognized AG teammates across the JBLM footprint, including two teammates who received the AGCRA COL Robert L Manning Achievement Medal. AGCRA Chapter Officers also highlighted upcoming Chapter events.

AGCRA Mount Rainier Chapter Supports Veterans in Need

The Mount Rainier Chapter of the Adjutant General's Corps Regimental Association (AGCRA) continues to do good in the Greater Seattle/Tacoma community.

Recently, MAJ Kim Mallard-Brown and CW2 Karen Nichols (pictured above), Mount Rainier Chapter Officers, dropped off donations on behalf of the Chapter to the Orting Veterans Village, a non-profit organization in conjunction with the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs. Orting Veterans Village provides 35 permanent tiny homes and resources for unhoused Veteran heroes located on the Soldiers Home Campus in Orting, Washington.

Many thanks to our respective AGs and S1 Teams on JBLM who contributed; Orting Veterans Village was very appreciative!
To those who would also like to contribute, the Orting Veterans Village Amazon "Wish List" can be found HERE.
