AGCRA Carolina Chapter Hosts Leadership Forum Focused on Dialogue and Development

The AGCRA Carolina Chapter Leadership Forum, held on 27 January 2026 at the Soldier Support Institute (SSI) Auditorium, brought together Soldiers, NCOs, and leaders for a dynamic discussion centered on leadership, professional growth, and shaping the future of the force.

The forum featured an outstanding panel of senior leaders from diverse professional backgrounds, including:

LTC Stanley Gillens, Senior Leader Training Director

CW4 Ronald Carrion, Senior Leader Training Instructor

SGM Temika Jenkins, Adjutant General Proponent Sergeant Major

MSG Matthew Sims, Deputy Commandant, NCO Academy

The event was led and facilitated by SSI Noncommissioned Officer Academy instructors and AGCRA Carolina Chapter members SFC Jessica Gunter and SFC Jacqueline Jefferson, whose leadership and coordination were instrumental in creating an engaging and inclusive environment for dialogue.

What set this forum apart was its deliberate focus on open, direct engagement between attendees and senior leaders. Participants were given the opportunity to ask candid questions and receive perspectives from leaders representing different backgrounds, roles, and career paths. This cross-section of experiences enriched the discussion and provided practical insights into leadership across operational, instructional, and institutional domains.

The success of the forum reinforced the value of creating spaces where Soldiers can engage directly with senior leaders—fostering mentorship, shared understanding, and professional inspiration. Events like this exemplify AGCRA’s commitment to developing leaders and strengthening the Adjutant General Corps community.

The AGCRA Carolina Chapter extends its appreciation to the panelists, facilitators, and all who attended for contributing to a meaningful and impactful leadership event.
