AG Corps' 250th Anniversary Virtual Race (a.k.a., AG250)
Ladies and Gentlemen of our beloved AG Corps! We are pleased to announce our next AGCRA Virtual Race, the 5th in our series. This may be the most significant one since the theme is centered around celebrating our Corps’ 250th anniversary. As with the other virtual races AGCRA has done, proceeds from this race (a.k.a., AG250) directly support the AGCRA Scholarship Program.
This iteration provides good opportunities as it is not just one typical event, not even two events. This virtual race includes twelve events throughout 2025 to challenge our individual and collective competitive spirit as a Corps. However, we will not require you to perform a specific physical activity for this race. If you desire to show support and own one of our designer medals and not run a single mile, then go for it! It is our intent to celebrate 250 years as the Army's second oldest Branch and as a family. We want to ensure that anyone, regardless of physical limitations, can join this celebration. Please understand that you must register and, of course, pay the virtual race fee to own the AG250 distinctive medal.
Those who want to participate in one or more events only need to register once and, during the registration process, select the events to which they want their names added. This includes Individual and Chapter challenges. The caveat here is that everyone who signs up for the Chapter category must be an active member of their AGCRA Chapter before the start day of that event. We have included a picture of the annual, semi-annual, monthly, and weekly events to get your breathing going and that blood pumping through your veins. We will have the Top 3/5 certificates for most of the events. We will also post instructions before each event. What if we have no registrations for an event? That's because it is NOT mandatory to compete. It's simple - we will have no winner(s) for that event.
So, what is next? AGCRA will create the registration form on the AGCRA website. Once our AG250 Virtual Race registration web page is live, we will announce it going live through the AGCRA Newsletter and its social media accounts. So ensure you are connected to AGCRA!
