AG Corps Regimental Honorees
Per AR 870-21, The U.S. Army Regimental System, Chapter 6, the Chief of the Adjutant General's Corps is the appointing authority to designate an Honorary Colonel of the Corps, Honorary Warrant Officer of the Corps, and Honorary Sergeant Major of the Corps.
These honorary and distinguished titles do not constitute an actual position, are entirely honorific in nature, and the individuals given these titles perform entirely voluntary services. An honorary appointment will be for 3 years. The appointing authority may also grant a second 3-year tour.
The Honorary Colonel, Honorary Warrant Officer, and Honorary Sergeant Major provide a link with history for today’s Soldiers. The primary mission of these special appointees is to perpetuate the history and traditions of the Corps, thereby enhancing unit morale and esprit.
NOTE: Re-publication of AR 870-21, The U.S. Army Regimental System, on April 13th, 2017, and Chapter 4 of the regulation, officially changed the branch designation of Adjutant General’s Corps Regiment to Adjutant General’s Corps.
COL (Ret) Neal F. McIntyre is a distinguished leader whose 30-year career has been marked by phenomenal contributions to the Adjutant General’s Corps and the Army. Notably, he led coordination efforts for the 1st Armored Division G1 to establish the theater MWR/rest-and-recuperation site “Freedom’s Rest” in Baghdad, Iraq.
From his early days as a Battalion S1 to his final military assignment as Chief of the Senior Leader Division Colonels Management Office, he has been recognized for his tireless leadership and organizational prowess. A notable demonstration of these traits was the co-founding of the “Follow Me” Chapter of the AGCRA at Fort Benning, GA.
His leadership in roles such as the 32nd Commandant of the Adjutant General School and Commander of the 30th Adjutant General Battalion (Reception), reflected a commitment to being “the Army’s BEST first impression” for Adjutant General Basic Officer Leader Course students and Infantry Initial Entry Training Soldiers, leaving a lasting impression on countless Soldiers and leaders.
As the Director of Interments at Arlington National Cemetery, he continues to serve our Nation with compassion and distinction, overseeing ~6,000 services a year. COL (Ret) McIntyre's career is a testament to his unwavering commitment to service and excellence.
COL (Ret) McIntyre was inducted into the AG Corps Hall of Fame, Class of 2026, and he is a 2018 Distinguished Member of the Adjutant General's Corps.
CW4 (Ret) Constantine S. Green is a distinguished member of the United States Army, originally hailing from Kingston, Jamaica. CW4 (Ret) Green began his military career by enlisting in the Army on June 23, 1982, and entered active duty on June 15, 1983. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication, he served as an enlisted Soldier for twelve years, attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class before his appointment as a Warrant Officer on December 12, 1995.
Throughout his career, CW4 (Ret) Green has held a variety of key personnel positions across the continental United States at Fort Ord, California; Fort Knox, Kentucky; Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana; Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Fort Benning, Georgia; and Fort Meade, Maryland. His overseas assignments include tours in both Germany and Korea. As a Warrant Officer, CW4 (Ret) Green has served in several significant roles, including Military Personnel Technician and Detachment Commander, Delta Detachment, 24th Personnel Services Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Georgia; Chief, Trainee Student Division, Fort Benning, Georgia; Deputy Adjutant General and Adjutant General/Chief, Military Personnel Division, Fort Meade, Maryland; Enlisted Strength Manager, G1, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Red Cloud, Korea; Course Director/Class Advisor, Warrant Officer Advanced Course and Senior Instructor for the Human Resources Management Course, Adjutant General School, Fort Jackson, SC.
Following his retirement from active duty in April 2009, CW4 (Ret) Green continued to serve the Army community as a contractor for Computer Solution Corporation (CSC), working as the Technical Trainer, Senior Professional (Subject Matter Expert S-1), for the Distance Learning Courseware Development for the Soldier Support Institute, Training Development Directorate, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, from December 2009 to September 2011. In August 2011, he was selected as the Senior Army Instructor and Department Chair for the Lewisville High School JROTC program, a role he held until his retirement in June 2018.
CW4 (Ret) Green is also a 2017 Distinguished Member of the Adjutant General's Corps.
CSM (Ret) Darlene C. Hagood distinguished herself through admirable service to the Nation, the Army, its Soldiers and civilians for 26 years. She was a transformational leader in every sense of the word; she knew many of her contributions would not be realized until long after she departed the Army. She was also a quiet professional NCO, always deferring to the Officer she served with, ensuring they always spoke with one voice.
CSM (Ret) Hagood has served in all leadership positions from Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant. She has also served in staff administration positions at the Company, Brigade, and Installation levels, including two deployments to Bosnia. Her key assignments include serving as CSM, 95th Adjutant General (Reception) Battalion, and CSM, U.S. MEPCOM Eastern Sector, culminating with her assignment as the 6th Adjutant General School and Regimental Command Sergeant Major.
Since her retirement in 2012, CSM (Ret) Hagood has continued to support the AG Corps and the Army through her work with the AG Corps Regimental Association, Carolina Chapter, and as a community volunteer.
CSM (Ret) Hagood was inducted into the AG Corps Hall of Fame, Class of 2017, and she is a 2012 Distinguished Member of the Adjutant General's Corps.
