19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command hosts successful 42A Resiliency Sustainment Day
The 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command (19ESC) recently held a productive and engaging 42A Resiliency Sustainment Day, bringing together military and civilian Human Resources (HR) professionals from Area IV (South Korea) to focus on the essential principles of resilience in the workplace.
This special event featured insightful presentations from the 19ESC Chaplain, LTC (CH) Pete Aleria, and Mr. Jason Abrahim, the Community Ready & Resilient Integrator for Area IV. Together, they emphasized the importance of resilience in promoting a supportive and effective work environment, equipping attendees with valuable tools to foster both personal and professional growth.
In addition to resilience training, HR professionals participated in an informative session on Casualty Reporting, led by the 19ESC Human Resources Operations Branch (HROB), represented by CW2 Geri Brown and SFC Jamien Frye. This critical training is vital for ensuring accurate and timely reporting, a key component of effective HR operations.
Teammates from the 8th Army G-1 also contributed to the day’s success by sharing
valuable business practices designed to enhance operational and administrative
processes. Their insights will help streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency within HR functions.
The 19ESC G-1 proudly honored Ms. Kyong Mi Pak and Mr. Hyo Pyo Chong as
Employees of the Month for their exemplary work as HR Specialists. Their dedication and efforts have made a significant impact on the command’s HR functions. Both Ms. Pak and Mr. Chong exemplify outstanding customer service, consistently responding to inquiries with promptness and effectiveness.
The 19ESC is grateful for the hard work and dedication of all HR professionals in Area IV. Together, we are building a resilient and supportive community that empowers every member to thrive.
